Spice Market: Signature South Asian Restaurant

Located in the W Doha Hotel and Residence, this restaurant was awarded the Best South East Asian restaurant in Qatar in 2019 by Time Out Doha.

Spice Market’s food is inspired by the colourful street foods found in South Asia. French-American chef, Jean-Georges Vongerichten, delivers an authentic cuisine in a family-style dining.

With a diverse and modern cuisine that incorporates local tastes, the BOHO Social Boho-casual lounge is a must for foodies.

Located on top of Katara Beach Club, the interior of the restaurant was designed in a bohemian chic style by the award-winning designer Paul Bishop and makes for a perfect place for that perfect Instagram picture.

The restaurant uses traditional ingredients and dishes from the Americas, Asia, Southern Europe, and the Middle East, but adds its own modern twist to the cuisine.

If you also enjoy an espresso, or coffee in general, BOHO Social has provided three sections in its menu that suit different kinds of coffee lovers, known as the Espresso Lab, the Slow Bar and Speciality lattes.

Award-winning executive chef, Andreé Fabián Núñez and his team have used their experiences to tell the stories of different cultures and traditions in their own way through their dishes.

Three-Sixty, The Torch

Looking for a unique food experience? Then try the Mediterranean-Italian cuisine at Qatar’s only revolving restaurant, Three-Sixty.

The restaurant is located on the 47th floor of The Aspire Tower also known as The Torch Doha, which is the tallest building in Qatar to date. The Tower is situated right next to the Villaggio mall.

The menu has a Chef’s Signature Dishes and a La Carte options available, and they also offer themed set menus for groups. If customers come by during the late afternoon, they can enjoy some high-tea with the calming atmosphere of the restaurant.

This award-winning restaurant also has a live piano music performance by Dave Peterson for customers to further enjoy the food and the panoramic view of Qatar.

Evergreen Organics

For those with different dietary needs, Evergreen Organics, Qatar’s first fully vegan café, is a good choice.

Co-founded by Qatari influencer Ghanim Al-Sulaiti and Joujou Alfardan, the café offers fresh, nutritious, and most importantly delicious foods that are completely plant-based.

Evergreen Organics can be found in The Pearl, Qanat Quartier where people can enjoy the sea view with their meal, and at Hamad International Airport with their on-the-go ready meals.

The interior is reflective of the plant-based food with its leaf themed wallpaper and abundance of plants placed around the café.

Al Shurfa Arabic Lounge

Qatari cuisine contains a mixture of influences from places in Persia, India, Lebanon, and North Africa. Visitors can taste the Lebanese-Mediterranean cuisine in this restaurant located inside one of Souq Waqif’s hotels called Al Jomrok Boutique Hotel.

The restaurant offers mixed grill dishes, mocktails and a few fresh juice options, they also serve shisha in different flavours to complete the experience. All of this can be enjoyed with the terrace view that is overlooking Souq Waqif and old Doha.

Jiwan Restaurant

This is a new restaurant which is located on the fourth floor of the National Museum of Qatar. Jiwan is a Qatari word that means perfect pearl that are rose-tinted white, round, with a clear sheen.

The restaurant offers a contemporary Qatari cuisine with a couple of seasonal dishes that depend on the local ingredients available.

The features of the restaurant are very much inspired by Qatar’s geography and nature, paying ode to the desertscape, with influences from the inland sea of Khor Al Adaid. The ceiling is inspired by fishing nets and some of the seating is positioned in small dining pods which are inspired by sand dunes.

The view from this restaurant onto the Doha-Bay is simply a masterpiece.

IDAM Restaurant

IDAM is also located at the iconic Museum of Islamic Art. After spending time discovering the exhibitions in the museum, people can enjoy a meal at IDAM Restaurant which is Chef Alain Ducasse’s first restaurant in the Middle East.

The food is a French Mediterranean cuisine with Arabian influences. The food is enjoyed by the picturesque view of Doha’s skyline.

The interior of the restaurant was designed by the talented French architect Philippe Starck who has given the restaurant a luxurious feel with black carpet embellished with white calligraphy.
